Lobo has a relatively good infrastructure. Because the town was abandoned for only ten
years, many of the power lines within Lobo are still usable. All communications, power and
gas lines along US 90 have been recently updated.
Water
Lobo has two wells capable of supplying the town with sufficient water. This water supply
has been rated by the Texan Water Office to be of drinking quality. If needed, a company in
Van Horn can supply drinking water in large plastic containers.

Three broadband fiber optics cables run past Lobo along US 90. The WilTel Communications
Network offers dedicated internet connections from 1 MBit to 2.88 GBit. Valor Telecom and
Cellular One provide phone service.
